We are recruiting for a Programme Co-ordinator for our High School Digital and Computing services, to co-ordinate programme of studies that could include core qualifications, English and maths, work packages, work based assessment, tutorial and enrichment. This covers a range of pathways for 14 – 16 High School provision within the Section.
The post holder will be required to co-ordinate staff operationally, in day to day activities, delivering the programme of studies, in addition to ensuring the effective delivery of programmes and a high quality learning experience for all students.
You will be responsible for the Digital, Creative & Design High School provision with regards to reporting performance, positive intervention, developing resources and maintaining equipment, along with supporting the Section Head in developing programme of studies across all areas of the curriculum including new provision. The post holder will deputise for the Section Head Digital Media, Art & Design as required.
The successful applicant will have a Level 6 qualification or equivalent in Digital or Computing, an IQA qualification, Teaching and Assessor qualifications and experience of working with awarding bodies, along with evidence of regular and accredited record of CPD activities in relevant subject areas.
You must have a track record of delivering a high quality curriculum to High School or Further Education provision, experience of teaching/training and leading quality processes. The ideal applicant will also have evidence of recent industrial updating/experience, a track record of successfully delivering innovative in Teaching and Learning with the use of Technology, in addition to having excellent communication skills and organisational abilities.
